Because Cauley also believes that by reaching back and believing in our youth, we are not only strengthening our future, but society as a whole, she developed a Food Science/Entrepreneur program. This program was devised to provide urban students with the skills necessary to create and sustain food businesses, which includes a key international component.
Angela and Ian were featured in the March 2010 edition of the Black Enterprise Magazine. The article entitled, "Recipe for Success," highlighted the couples' business strategy and commitment. Coalescence⢠was also named the 2011 Small Business of the Year by Black Enterprise. The Small Business Awards were created to provide special recognition to African American entrepreneurs who embody the Black Enterprise entrepreneurial spirit. Select companies and individuals are recognized each year for bringing new products to the forefront, redefining sales strategies, and discovering new and profitable markets.
Angela's greatest joy is her family, and she and Ian are the proud parents of two children, Nasir and Amina.
